The African Centre for Leadership Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) on 22nd April 2022 organized its Q2 Policy Dialogue series on the theme Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Implementation in Nigeria: The Progress, the Gains, and the Gaps.
A one-day CSO-Media engagement on Effective Natural Resource Governance was organised by the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) with the support of the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) to advance conversation on its Strengthening Civic Engagement and Advocacy for Effective Natural Resource Governance project, being implemented in Ebonyi, Ekiti and Taraba states.
Quota system is universal and used in several countries around the world including India, South Africa, Kenya, USA and Uganda. In many of the countries, the system is transitional. However, in Nigeria, the quota system has no exit date or strategy.

We the delegates, representing various faiths and traditional leaders in Nigeria from Muslim, Traditional African Religion and Christian beliefs; representatives of Christian Association of Nigeria, Jama’atu Nasril Islam and other Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs) from the six geo-political zones in Nigeria, gathered in Abuja Nigeria from 27 th -28 th of November 2018.
