Theresa Owoicho is the Assistant Finance and Admin Officer at the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD), where she plays a vital role in supporting the Centre’s financial management and administrative operations. Her responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payment vouchers, ensuring proper documentation, and providing cross-functional administrative support to uphold the financial integrity of the organization’s mission-driven work.

Theresa began her journey at Centre LSD as an intern in January 2023. Her rapid progression into her current role is a testament to her competence, reliability, and keen attention to detail. During her internship, she gained direct experience managing finances for donor-funded projects, collaborating with a skilled finance team to ensure accountability and compliance. She has contributed to the financial management of several high-impact initiatives funded by globally recognized institutions. Her dedication to precision and transparency has reinforced the Centre’s reputation for integrity in its financial operations.

Theresa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMNC). She is currently advancing her professional journey as a student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), deepening her expertise in accounting standards and practices. Additionally, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Finance and Investment at ABUDLC, where she is building advanced proficiency in financial theory and investment strategy.
