Oiza Rasheed is a Human Resources Professional at the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD), where she leads the Centre’s employee relations, staff development, and workplace culture strategy. She brings over ten years of experience in the development sector, combining strong roots in finance with a deep commitment to building high-performing, people-centered systems.
Oiza began her career at Centre LSD as a Finance and Admin Intern (2013–2014) and later served as Finance/Admin Assistant before being assigned as the Finance Officer for the USAID/CRS-funded Feed the Future Nigeria (FtF) project. In that role, she managed core finance operations — including transaction processing, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, statutory remittances, and monthly reconciliations — using QuickBooks and other accounting tools.
In 2023, she transitioned fully into Human Resources, where she now oversees employee welfare, workplace policies, and strategic HR planning.
Oiza holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Management at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU). She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered), and the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (Chartered). Her additional qualifications include an International Diploma in Advanced Human Resource Management, a Certificate in Effective Performance Management, and a Masterclass Certificate in Executive Human Resource Management.
Known for her dedication, strategic thinking, and results orientation, Oiza is passionate about fostering a workplace where talent thrives and people feel valued.
