Mr. Monday Osasah is a capacity-building professional, advocate for good governance, and champion of an open society, with over 15 years of cross-sectoral experience in manufacturing, journalism, and the nonprofit sector. His work is grounded in a deep commitment to impactful change, transparency, and sustainable development.

As the Executive Director of the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD), Monday leads programs that build institutional capacity, nurture transformative leadership, and craft strategic solutions for long-term development impact. In addition to his leadership at Centre LSD, he serves as the Anglophone Africa Representative of Publish What You Pay (PWYP) and Chair of the PWYP Global Council, where he plays a central role in advocating for transparency and accountability in the extractive industries. He works tirelessly to ensure that natural resources are equitably utilized and that governments and corporations are held accountable to citizens.

Monday's extensive and diverse background reflects a career built on driving meaningful change. He is a respected board chair across various nonprofit organizations, applying his experience and strategic acumen to create high-impact programs and policies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and the Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria (ISMN), professional affiliations that underscore his commitment to the highest standards of integrity and excellence in the field of public administration and development.

Academically, Monday holds both a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) and a Master of Science (M.Sc..) in Public Administration from Delta State University. He also holds a background in economics, equipping him with analytical and strategic insight essential for managing complex governance and development initiatives.

Mr. Osasah is the Chairperson of the Comptroller General of Immigration Think-tank and an active member of the NEAT Initiative in Nigeria, where he fosters innovative thinking and policy development. His ability to collaborate across sectors has enabled him to influence policy development, drive innovation, and lead with purpose.

A voracious reader and passionate mentor, Monday demonstrates his lifelong commitment to learning and community support through both professional work and personal engagement. He is known for inspiring others to pursue excellence, advocacy, and service. His legacy is defined by his unrelenting pursuit of good governance, transparency, and a just society.
