Comfort Isaiah is a dedicated Corp member serving at the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) She support the Centre’s Communications Department through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), where she plays a key role in promoting Centre LSD’s initiatives via digital platforms and stakeholder engagement tools.
Driven by a deep passion for youth development and student empowerment, she brings a unique background in academic mentorship, classroom management, and crisis intervention. During her time at Centre LSD, she has collaboratively managed the organization’s social media presence, supported content development for campaigns and events, and helped document the Centre’s activities through visual storytelling and promotional materials
Her previous experience includes multiple teaching practice placements at Mary Immaculate Grammar School in Ekiti State, where she planned and delivered curriculum-aligned lessons, evaluated student progress, and provided both academic and emotional support to students. Her strategic approach to problem management and mentorship has consistently fostered positive classroom environments that promote holistic learning.
Comfort Isaiah holds a bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counselling from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti. She is a licensed professional teacher under the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). Her continued learning includes trainings such as the "Strategic Programmed for Out-of-Job Youth and Women in Ekiti South West" (Centre for Management Development, 2022), and the World Health Organization’s course on Go. She is particularly passionate about helping students navigate academic and personal challenges and is committed to contributing to national development through youth mentorship, education reform, and community engagement.
