Governance: Power in the hands of the people

We promote democratic values and accountable leadership by strengthening citizen participation in governance. From electoral reforms and budget advocacy to anti-corruption campaigns and civic education, we equip citizens with the tools to hold power to account and shape the policies that affect their lives.

Environment and Climate Change: justice for people and the planet

Environmental degradation affects livelihoods, health, and future generations. Centre LSD leads community-based campaigns and national advocacy to demand environmental justice, combat climate change, and influence sustainable policies — especially in extractive regions like the Niger Delta.

Ogoni clean-up and ecological restoration
