VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROGRAMME OFFICER AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established under Nigerian laws to build strategic leadership for sustainable development in Africa. The vision of Centre LSD is an African society with strategic leadership and sustainable development. The Centre’s mission is to work with forces of positive change to empower citizens to transform society. The Centre is guided by the values of transparency and accountability; integrity; transformative change; feminism; diversity; dignity of the human person and Pan-Africanism.
The Civil Society National Self-Regulatory Council (CNSRC) is a coalition of self-regulating civil society organizations in Nigeria. The CNSRC’s vision is to cultivate a civil society sector that serves as a beacon of ethical excellence and collective enablement, fostering a vibrant civil society ecosystem in Nigeria. Its mission is to enhance public trust by championing the development, adoption, and adherence to self-regulation standards within the civil society sector.
Centre LSD and CNSRC are implementing a Palladium/ SCALE project to build the capacity of SCALE Clusters and resource partners on leadership and resource mobilisation, support for implementation of the Self-Regulation framework and sustainability of the CSO Altas.
In order to implement the project effectively and efficiently, Centre LSD and CNSRC are inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Programme Officer, CNSRC and Administrative Officer, CNSRC.
Position: Programme Officer, CNSRC, Abuja Fixed Term: (11 months)
Education:
- Minimum of HND or first degree from a recognised university.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years post NYSC experience
- Knowledge of Coalition and network management
- Knowledge of Self-Regulation
- Active use and knowledge of social media
Skills and Abilities
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in team
- Communication/IT skills
- Secretariat duties
Position: Administrative Officer, CNSRC (11 months)
Education:
- Minimum of HND or first degree from a recognised university.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years post-NYSC experience
- Knowledge of Coalition and network management
- Knowledge of Self-Regulation
- Active use and knowledge of social media
Skills and Abilities
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in team
- Communication/IT skills
- Secretariat duties
