The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) penultimate week finalized the recruitment of its new Director of Leadership as part of efforts to fully operationalize its structure and take the organization to greater heights. The new Director, Dr. Emenike Umesi, comes with impressive credentials and experience.
Before joining the services of the Centre, the new Director was the Country Director of Developmental Data Initiative, from April 2018 to February 2021. He holds a Ph.D in continuing education and development studies from the University of Calabar, and an MBA in management. He has over thirty years’ experience cutting across teaching, banking, and consulting.
According to a release by the Executive Director of the Centre, Mr. Monday Osasah, Umesi is a certified emergency manager, business continuity planner and has attended several courses in various universities including Harvard school of public Health, Bournemouth university, UK, Northwest University Potchefstroom, South Africa. His research interest is in Disaster management and humanitarian assistance, General management and human resources management. He is married and has two children###
