See More ResourcesThe 2016 Annual Report marks a strategic year for Centre LSD, themed around empowering leadership and building self-managed teams. With a total income of ₦121.6 million, the Centre deepened its impact through leadership development, governance reforms, anti-corruption campaigns, environmental advocacy, and youth empowerment programmes across Nigeria.
Key milestones included active participation in Nigeria’s Open Government Partnership process, election observation missions in Edo and Ondo States, and scaled delivery of the USAID-funded livelihoods and nutrition project in Kebbi State. The Leadership School graduated its 8th cohort, reaching a cumulative total of 481 alumni.
Strengthened by new partnerships with organizations like MacArthur Foundation and Cordaid, the Centre ended the year with a healthy budget surplus, continued programme expansion, and a growing influence in civic advocacy and policy engagement nationwide.
