Empowering Women in Igbokoda Ilaje WIFE Cooperative Impact Stories Centre LSD

Centre LSD recently visited the Igbokoda–Ilaje Multipurpose Cooperative to assess progress and observe how the WIFE Project’s revolving loan grant is transforming lives.

During the visit, we engaged directly with cooperative members and witnessed inspiring stories of growth and resilience. From a photographer expanding her business with new equipment, to a dry fish seller and a beverage vendor increasing their stock and income - these are real stories of empowerment in action.

Beyond financial support, the WIFE Project is helping women build sustainable businesses, strengthen their livelihoods, and improve their standard of living.

This visit reaffirms the impact of community-driven solutions and the power of investing in women.
