Being A Girl-Child

An inspiring story about a young girl who faced opposition from her father, but through hard work and determination earned a scholarship to college, and her father realized the value of education.

The story highlights the power of self-motivation and the importance of education for young girls. 'Being A Girl Child' concluded with the father and daughter united in their support of girls' education.

The short film is produced by Centre LSD with support from UN Women and the European Union under the Spotlight Initiative to end violence against women and girls.
