Today, Centre LSD held a Sensemaking & Reflection meeting with its South South zonal partner under the Male Feminists Network (MFN), Value Rebirth & Empowerment Initiative (VREI) in Warri.
The team, led by the Programme Coordinator, Dr. Vincent Dania, reviewed the progress made so far, assessed implementation strategies, and identified areas for improvement to better align ongoing activities with the project’s medium-term outcomes.
The discussions focused on strengthening accountability, refining strategic priorities, and ensuring that field-level activities translate into measurable gender-based violence (GBV) prevention results in line with the Ford Foundation Office for West Africa’s Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice Strategy.
The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment: male engagement must be intentional, structured, and impact-driven to contribute meaningfully to gender justice.
