COMMUNICATION TEAMS MEETING

On January 12, 2026, the Communications team held its first monthly meeting to welcome staff as they began a new working year and to address key initiatives and challenges.

Venue: Portal Cabin

Attendance:

1. Mrs. Tracy Irhezaen.

2. Elvis Ovietobore Oderhohwo

3. Miss Eunice Agbedo.

4. Mr. Nicholas Joshua.

5. Kesiena Omekedo.

The meeting was begun at 1:30pm. The Communication Coordinator, Ms. Tracy Irhezaen welcomed team members back to work while also emphasizing the theme for the year: Scaling-up Impact and Institutional Sustainability.

Ms. Irhezaen formally welcomed Mr. Nicolas Joshua to the team providing an overview of his roles and responsibilities within the Communications/IT Unit. She highlighted new initiatives which the unit will be implementing including the establishment of an online radio station, which will function as a dynamic platform for disseminating key messages, engaging a wider audience and generating ACLSD.

She noted that Mr. Nicolas Joshua will also be responsible for overseeing the production of podcast series. management of Development Dynamics Studio and the office’s website.

Ms. Irhezaen also emphasized the importance of working with the Programmes Coordinators, noting the challenges associated with documenting impactful stories that clearly demonstrate the positive outcomes of Centre LSD’s initiatives without communication unit.

She also noted that due process should be followed on all official matters as stipulated by the management, stating that all official communications must be reviewed and duly approved before dissemination. This measure is intended to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the organization’s brand identity and mission.

She appreciated team members for their collaboration and mutual support, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving shared objectives. Her remarks reinforced the collective responsibility to working together in order to maximize impact.

Team members expressed optimism to achieved set goals for the year while also appreciating Ms. Irhezaen for her ability to listen to their ideas and suggestions. In summary, the meeting served an opportunity to establish a clear take-off for a year focused on commitment, growth, and scaling impact.

The meeting ended at 1:55 p.m.
