See More ResourcesThe African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) will host a one-day High-level National Summit on Women’s Inclusion in Nigeria on August 22. The summit which aims to highlight the importance of women’s inclusion in governance, will bring together stakeholders from the National Assembly, media, academia, development partners, traditional and religious leaders, the Side-by-Side Movement for gender justice, and advocates for gender justice.
The Centre’s MEL Director, Victoria Udoh in a press release said the summit which will harmonize efforts and actions by the various stakeholders and organizations on women’s inclusion in governance, will also broker synergy and map out a joint strategy and actions for collective impact.
According to her, Prof. Oluwafunmilayo Para-Mallam, Mni, Professor of Gender and Development Studies, and Director of Research, National Institute for Policy & Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, shall give the Keynote speech.
