Centre LSD Graduates New Cohort of Emerging Leaders at Jos Leadership School Study Centre

Jos, Plateau State The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD), in partnership with the Mountains of Hope Foundation, will on Saturday, 24 January 2026, graduate the fourth cohort of students from the Jos Leadership School Study Centre.

In a statement issued by the Team Lead of the Leadership Directorate, Mr Lawal Amodu, a total of 84 students from the Jos Study Centre will be formally graduated and inducted into the Centre LSDMountains of Hope Foundation alumni network. The ceremony marks another significant milestone in Centre LSDs ongoing commitment to nurturing transformative leadership across Nigeria.

According to Mr Amodu, the graduation lecture, titled Leadership and Peacebuilding/Conflict Resolution, is both timely and relevant, given the complex security challenges confronting Nigeria, and Plateau State in particular. He noted that effective leadership can only thrive in an environment of peace and stability, which is essential for delivering the transformative leadership the country urgently needs.

Mr Amodu further charged the graduating students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the programme to positively engage with Nigerias socio-economic and political challenges. He emphasised that the graduands are not only being called to duty but also to action, urging them to contribute meaningfully at all levels of society where they find themselves.

With this graduation, the total number of individuals trained and graduated through Centre LSDs leadership programmes nationwide will rise to 3,199. Members of the public are encouraged to follow the graduation proceedings via Centre LSDs official social media platforms.
