Advocacy Visits to Stakeholders in Education Sector in Adamawa State.

Centre LSD Community Led Collective Action for Girls Education (C-CAGE) project team commenced a week-long advocacy to key stakeholders in the education sector in Adamawa state on the need to achieve the project’s objective of increasing the enrollment, retention and completion of secondary school by girls in the state. Today, the team met with the executive chairman of Song LGA, Hon. Gidado Abdussalam, his councillors and other key officials in his cabinet at his office in Song LGA headquarters, Adamawa state. The chairman commended the Centre for her commitment to girl child education in the state and the achievements of the project so far. He requested that the Centre shares data on the project with the LGA so they can fashion out ways to sustain the intervention after the lifetime of the project
