Request for Proposals: Development of Data Management System for Centre LSD

Introduction

The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) solicits proposals from experienced and qualified vendors to work with our IT officer to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive Data Management Software.

Project Description

The management software will be developed to be used on a web browser in a closed network. The purpose of the system is to store Data according to programs done and are ongoing by the Centre and give access to staff according to their user privileges, the system will also serve as the control for the storage of all our media files, a user should be all to call up reports and carry out basic analysis from saved Data according to their privileges.

Project Requirements

The app should include the following features:

  1. A library/directory for media files.
  2. Create and manage Users
  3. Create and manage programs
  4. Create and manage projects
  5. The system should be able to spool out reports from the data input
  6. The system should be able to carry out basic analysis

Proposal Contents

Interested vendors should include in their proposal:

  1. A  comprehensive plan for developing the application,  including a  timeline, technology stack to be used, and methodologies.
  2. A portfolio of past similar projects,  showcasing the vendor’s experience and capability.
  3. A proposed budget, including a breakdown of costs.
  4. A proposed maintenance and support plan post-implementation.

Proposal Submission

Please send your proposals in PDF format to info@centrelsd.org no later than January 15, 2024. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.

Evaluation

Proposals will be evaluated based on the vendor’s demonstrated competency, experience, proposed timeline, budget, and approach to the project.

A press statement released by the Programme Coordinator of Centre LSD, Mr. Lawal Amodu, stated that the two-day event is expected to produce a two-year plan that will guide the Area Council in the implementation of Open Governance principles. He noted that the development of an action plan will show in greater detail how the Council will achieve its OGP objectives.
